Q. Do you have my textbook?

Unfortunately, the short answer is probably not.   Due to the sheer amount of classes taught each semester at CSULB, and the cost associated with buying that many books on a regular basis, the Library does not buy textbooks.

Having said that, there are times where a book is purchased by the Library and a professor winds up using it as their textbook, or we may have the book on reserve for a certain class.  The way to see for certain if we have a book or not is to go to OneSearch and do a a TITLE search for the title of the book you are looking for.  If the library has a copy, you will see the information on where the item is located and if it is available.

If we do not have the book, or someone else has already checked it out, you should consider using the Library's Link+ service.  You can request the book from another library and we will get it for you for FREE!
