Do Visiting Faculty have access to the library?
As a Visiting Faculty, what are my library privileges?
Answer
Visiting Faculty are given the same library access as current CSULB Faculty. This includes print material borrowing, Interlibrary Loan Requests, and remote and in-person access to electronic resources. Create your Visiting Scholar library account at the Circulation desk near the Library entrance. You will need:
· A Letter from your department showing the start and end dates of the appointment.
· A CSULB faculty ID card.
A library account must be created to check out print materials and to activate remote access to electronic resources. For remote access, the username is the Visiting Faculty ID #, the password will be set when creating the library account.
Please visit the CSULB bookstore’s card center to receive your Visiting Faculty ID card. See the Services for Faculty page for more information.
