Q. If a book shows available in the catalog but isn't on the shelf, what do I do?


Report it to the Circulation Desk. Someone will search to see if the book has been misshelved. If they cannot find it (they don't search immediately), they will list the book as MISSING in the catalog, thereby allowing you to request the book from another library using CSU+.
