How can I find the population of a specific country?

Answer

The best source for information like that is the CountryWatch database.

From the CSULB Library homepage, select Databases, click on the 'C' and then select CountryWatch (NOT CountryWatch Macroeconomic Forecast). If you are accessing from off-campus you will need to enter your BeachID and password to enter the database.

Some population statistics can also be found in the Statistical Abstract of the United States (use the section titled "International Statistics").  http://csulb.libguides.com/statisticalabstract

Finally, the CIA World Factbook is a reliable web resource that can be found at https://www.cia.gov/library/publications/the-world-factbook/.
