Q. How do I find a book the library does not have? I can't find it in Link+, but I can find it easily on Google.

Answer

Interlibrary Services offers 2 options to obtain books not currently available (checked out, temporarily unavailable, we don't own it, etc.) at CSULB:  LINK+ (2-4 days) and ILLiad (4-7 days, also known as BeachReach). http://www.csulb.edu/library/guide/serv/docdel.html

First try Link+, but if your book isn't available there, you will need to request it through ILLiad (BeachReach).  (Link+ is a consotrtium of about 30 libraries, if a book doesn't show up in your search, it just means none of those libraries own it.)

If you would like to suggest that the library purchase a particular item, here's the link to the suggestion form.
