Q. I am searching for articles on global warming but when I insert it in the search box it tells me there are none. what should I do?

Search the database Academic Search Complete to find articles on the topic. Go to the Library's web site and click on Databases By Title and then click on the title Academic Search Complete. You would start your search using keywords. Try "global warming" in the top box of the search screen. Make sure you also check the box on the search screen to Limit Your Results to...Scholarly (Peer Reveiwed) Journals (this should be located on the middle of the screen on the left). Take a look at the results. You should see a number of articles and many will be available full-text in the database.

Another option is to use the database CQ Researcher. Look for this databse in the Databases By Title list on the Library's web site. Use the keywords global warming in the Quick Search box. These reports have a lot of information about current topics. They will give you a chronology about the topic as well as an in-depth discussion.
